Why I built this.

When I did the walk-up music for my son's 7U team, I ended up spending hours editing songs and announcer voices together into a playlist.

I went looking for an app to make it easier. None of them sounded as good. Most made me pay extra for the voices, or nickel-and-dimed for features.

So I built the one I wanted.

Well, we built it.

When I started with a Beta, I posted in a travel baseball group on Facebook and asked for honest feedback.

More than 125 people — from Colorado to Minnesota to California to New Jersey — signed up, and so many took the time to tell me exactly what they wanted it to do. I couldn't be more grateful.

In the process, I found there are people just like me who pour their heart into making memories for their teams.

Showing up early, hauling the giant speaker, and knowing every name and every song — it deserves to be celebrated.

I'm hoping Now Batting can bring together a community of Chief Hype Officers, all across the country. A place to swap stories, tips and share the passion we have for making game day great for the fans and the kids.

This is for every parent or coach who gets how much it means to their kids to walk to the plate with swag.
